Core Critical Illness benefit

Our Core Critical Illness benefit covers 33 critical illness conditions, including the 4 main conditions, heart attack, cancer, stroke and coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). It also covers various cardiac surgical procedures; multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease; prophylactic mastectomies, bone marrow transplants and various organ transplants, including heart, liver, kidney, lung and pancreas transplants; severe rheumatoid arthritis, the loss of (or loss of use of) limbs, blindness, deafness and loss of speech; coma, paralysis and major burns; and motor neurone disease and various endocrine conditions.
