Our Disability benefit pays out a lump sum should the insured become totally and irreversibly disabled and as a result, unable to work.

It also pays in the event of impairment, such as the loss of use of limbs; loss of hearing, sight or speech; traumatic head injuries; permanent mental or cognitive impairment; and the inability to perform 2 or more daily activities.

Plus, if only a partial payment is made, the balance of the benefit amount remains intact for future claims.

Our Disability benefit:

• Has no waiting period
• Only has 1 exclusion
• Covers occupational disability (linked to the insured’s own or a similar occupation) and core impairment
• Offers maximum cover of R10 million
