Comprehensive Impairment benefit
Our Comprehensive Impairment benefit covers an extensive range of specific, permanent conditions as a result of sickness, injury, disease, illness or a surgical operation.
These include the loss of use of limbs; loss of hearing, sight or speech; traumatic head injuries; permanent mental or cognitive impairment; and the inability to perform 2 or more daily activities.
The benefit also covers specific respiratory, digestive, musculoskeletal, nervous, cardiovascular, and endocrine/urological/renal system conditions; cancer; mental and behavioural disorders; and advanced AIDS.
Plus, if only a partial payment is made, the balance of the benefit amount remains intact for future claims.
